DESCRIPTION:About HAVIN: We pronounce it as “haven” because we are a safe place to come to for people who are experiencing vision loss. HAVIN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization staffed by a board of volunteers that brings together 9 groups and organizations that serve the blindness community across the greater Houston area. \n\n\n\nOne of the primary ways HAVIN serves our mission of “Bringing unity to our community” is through our signature event the HAVIN Insight Expo\, an annual event we have held since 2011.
