Vision Concept (northwest Houston) is looking for an energetic optician to join our new private optometry office.
*only full time available.
Full time hours: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri: 9 am – 5 pm. Sats: 9 am -3 pm
- Includes paid time off, paid holidays
- 1 year optical experience is required/ 1 year of sales experience required
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Looking for a customer service oriented new team member.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- help sell eyeglasses (help patients select frames and explain lenses options) and contact lenses
- explain insurance benefits to patients
- file insurance (training will be provided)
- help run preliminary tests on patients before eye exam
- basic computer skills required
- must be willing to work Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour
